COMTO Hampton Roads seeks ways to advance networking opportunities for its members with partnering organizations providing multimodal facets of transportation-related interests for both people and goods, including air, rail, highway, bus and by sea.
We reformat our General Chapter Meetings (GCM) to a form where our COMTO Hampton Roads Members will clearly see “What’s in it for me” (WIIFM).
These monthly meetings focus on:
1. Providing the private industry access to business opportunities
2. Providing public entities access to business resources
3. Providing both private and public entities access to opportunities for professional development via the identification
and sharing of “best practices” employed throughout the industry
4. Fostering business/professional relationships across the Multimodal transportation agencies issues, initiatives and
opportunities
COMTO Hampton Roads is a comprised of civic-minded individuals who also believe in giving back to the communities in which they live. Community-focused events such as the annual COMTO Hampton Roads Golf Tournament help raise awareness of educational needs in the Hampton Roads area and funding for scholarships intended to enterprising seniors and current undergraduates to continue their pursuit of higher education.
